Soccer Game Preview: D.C. Everest vs. Eau Claire Memorial

The D.C. Everest Evergreens will venture away from home to face off against the Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. D.C. Everest's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Friday, neither D.C. Everest nor Eau Claire North could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Eau Claire Memorial was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell just short of Wausau West by a score of 1-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Eau Claire Memorial couldn't quite close it out.

D.C. Everest's draw makes their record 4-5-5 this season. As for Eau Claire Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1.

D.C. Everest suffered a grim 6-2 defeat to Eau Claire Memorial in their previous meeting back in June of 2025. Can the Evergreens avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
