Football Game Preview: Bison vs. Timber Lake

Bison have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Timber Lake at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Bison, but that can only make success all the sweeter.

There's no need to mince words: Bison lost to Harding County two weeks ago, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-40. Bison were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-26.

Last week, Timber Lake were putting the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took the matchup and then some with a 56-6 victory over Harding County. The Timber Lake offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the matchup anyway.

Timber Lake's win lifted them to 4-0 while Bison's loss dropped them down to 2-1. We'll see if Timber Lake's success rolls on or if Bison are able to steal their positive momentum.
