Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Finds Home Field Redemption Against South Plainfield

There's no place like home for St. Joseph, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the South Plainfield Tigers 14-7 on Friday. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 11-9 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Joseph Barca was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Matthew Ferber was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one home run and four RBI.

St. Joseph was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Plainfield only posted a batting average of .231.
