Basketball Game Preview: Leslie Blackhawks vs. Michigan Center Cardinals

Having just played yesterday, the Leslie Blackhawks will head out on the road to face off against the Michigan Center Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Tuesday, Leslie humbled Manchester with a 49-12 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Blackhawks had established a 24 point advantage.

Meanwhile, Michigan Center was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Napoleon 56-28. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Michigan Center's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points over those games. As for Leslie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Leslie came up short against Michigan Center in their previous matchup back in January, falling 62-49. Can Leslie avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
