Baseball Recap: Ridge Community Takes a Loss

Ridge Community might've scored the first runs on Monday, but it was Four Corners who claimed the real prize. The Ridge Community Bolts took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Four Corners Coyotes. The defeat continues a trend for the Bolts in their meetings with the Coyotes: they've now lost three in a row.

Deniel Serrano was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Mathew Conde, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Ridge Community's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Four Corners, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4-1.

Coming up, Ridge Community will host George Jenkins at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Four Corners, they will head out on the road to take on McKeel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
