Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Eldon Mustangs and fell 64-32.

Eldon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaydin Davis led the charge by going 6 for 9 en route to 14 points. Corin Davis was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten boards.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Eldon, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-17 loss against Webb City on the 27th. As for Eldon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-44 defeat against Southern Boone on the 27th.
