Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is Rossville's Ninth in Last 12 Outings

Rossville had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 53-44 victory over the Bethesda Christian Patriots on Wednesday.

Brayden Thiele-Hahn was his usual excellent self, shooting 50% from the field en route to 19 points and five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Rossville's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Saylor, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 10 points and five boards.

Rossville is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Bethesda Christian and nudges their season record down to 7-15.

Coming up, Rossville will face off against Clinton Prairie at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Clinton Prairie will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Rossville surely won't give up without a fight. Bethesda Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
