They took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. Waubonsie Valley has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Danyella Mporokoso, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Mporokoso is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Laub, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Waubonsie Valley's loss dropped their record down to 32-5. As for Fremd, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 30-7 record this season.
