Baseball Recap: Milford Triumphs

With a playoff win on the line, Milford rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Monticello Buckaroo a 5-0 shutout.

The team relied heavily on Toby LaOrange, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

Milford's victory bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Monticello, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Milford nor Monticello have any future games scheduled.
