Clarke County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand the Graham G-Men a 4-0 shutout on Friday. Give Clarke County's defense some credit: that's the team's eighth straight shutout.

Isabel Aliveto and Makenna Jarvis scored all four of Clarke County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 37 goals.

Clarke County pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those seven matchups. As for Graham, with the loss, they broke their 18-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-2.

Looking ahead, Clarke County will welcome Poquoson at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Poquoson will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Clarke County surely won't give up without a fight. Graham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
