Basketball Recap: New Albany Takes a Loss

New Albany and Houston squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but New Albany had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 60-41 to the Houston Hilltoppers. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

New Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Houston, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 19 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

New Albany does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Houston, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-54 loss against Choctaw Central on the 14th.
