Baseball Recap: Germantown Friends Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sissonville on Wednesday, Germantown Friends came back down to earth. Germantown Friends took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flint Hill Huskies on Wednesday. Germantown Friends was not able to make up for their defeat to Flint Hill from their previous meeting back in March of 2015.

Germantown Friends has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Flint Hill and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Germantown Friends will venture away from home to take on Shipley at 4:00 p.m. on April 4. As for Flint Hill, they will take on Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
