Football Game Recap: Cheverus vs. Oxford Hills/Buckfield

On Friday, Oxford Hills/Buckfield put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against Cheverus as they made off with a 42-14 victory. Oxford Hills/Buckfield were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

The win bumped Oxford Hills/Buckfield's record up to 4-1. The loss dropped Cheverus' record to 3-2.

Oxford Hills/Buckfield will look to defend their home turf next week against Bonny Eagle at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. As for Cheverus, they will face off against Edward Little. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
