Volleyball Recap: Fort Collins Lambkins vs. Heritage Eagles

Fort Collins was the 2-1 winner over Heritage when they last played one another back in October of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Lambkins fell 2-0 to the Eagles on Friday.

Fort Collins' offense was headlined by Caitlin Cripe and Tatum Comer, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Josephine Rubenstein and her five assists. Livi Durham controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Fort Collins' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Heritage, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Fort Collins will be taking part in a tournament against Dakota Ridge at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Lambkins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Heritage, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Arapahoe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
