Volleyball Recap: Bryan Takes a Loss

Bryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Evergreen Vikings, falling 3-0. If the Golden Bears were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bryan was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Evergreen work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-22.

Evergreen can attribute much of their success to Lauren Valentine, who had 12 digs.

Bryan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Evergreen, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bryan will square off against Edgerton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Evergreen, they will challenge Gorham Fayette at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
