Football Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Byron Center Bulldogs 49-6. While losing is never fun, the Red Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 29th).

Union's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Byron Center, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Union is set to face off against their familiar foe Muskegon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Byron Center will challenge rival Reeths-Puffer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
