Jenkins County waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Screven County Gamecocks 75-48. This was a revenge game for the War Eagles: when they faced off against the Gamecocks last Saturday, they had to take a 58-52 loss.

Despite the defeat, Screven County had strong showings from LeVez Roper, who almost dropped a double-double with 24 points and nine rebounds, and Luke Sowell, who posted nine points and six boards. Roper's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points.

Jenkins County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-12. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Screven County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12.

Coming up, Jenkins County will host Savannah at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Savannah will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Jenkins County surely won't give up without a fight. Screven County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
