Ever since Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) 5-star standout JT Daniels reclassified to the Class of 2018, the designation of "top quarterback" from the Class of 2019 has been up for grabs.

With National Signing Day for the Class of 2018 upon us, MaxPreps football editor Zack Poff has spliced together a revealing video of the Top 10-rated quarterbacks from next season's class with expert analysis and loads of information.

There's not yet a 5-star designation by 247Sports for any of these 10. But the video above takes a look at a talented group that includes strong-armed gunslingers like Spencer Rattler of Pinnacle (Phoenix) and Grant Gunnell of St. Pius X (Houston) as well as super dual threats Bo Nix of Pinson Valley (Pinson, Ala.) and Roschon Johnson of Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, Texas).
