Basketball Recap: Maud Comes Up Short

After flying high against Graham/Dustin last Tuesday, Maud came back down to earth. The Maud Tigers took a 40-26 bruising from the Wayne Bulldogs on Thursday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Maud's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Wayne, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.

Coming up, Maud is taking a road trip to take on Asher at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Asher will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Maud surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wayne, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 35-30 defeat against Konawa on the 7th.
