Volleyball Recap: Morrill's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Morrill waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Crawford Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Morrill was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 25-14.

Morrill found their leader in freshman Claire Edwards, who had 12 digs. Rachelle Seier also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Morrill's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Crawford, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Morrill will be taking part in a tournament against Hemingford at 3:25 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crawford, they will square off against Hay Springs on Thursday. The contest will give the Rams their first taste of in-conference action this season.
