Football Game Preview: Decatur Eagles vs. Celina Bobcats + How To Watch

The Decatur Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Celina Bobcats at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Decatur is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They breezed past Paris to the tune of 49-21. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Wildcats are ranked 216th).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Decatur to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jake Milligan, who rushed for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 carries. Milligan's longest rush was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Jamari Fletcher also helped out as he racked up 126 rushing yards.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Celina against Eastern Hills on Friday as the squad secured a 70-22 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bobcats had established a 34-point advantage.

The win was the third in a row for Decatur, bringing their record up to 8-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Celina, their record is now 12-0.
