Volleyball Recap: Indian Rocks Christian's Undefeated Season over After Six Games + How To Watch

Indian Rocks Christian lost against Clearwater Central Catholic back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Marauders. The loss put an end to the Eagles' undefeated start to the season.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Clearwater Central Catholic scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 18-25, 25-20.

Emma Eisenman paced Indian Rocks Christian's offense, picking up 19 kills. Eisenman got some help from Olivia Anderson and her 38 assists. Anderson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Clearwater Central Catholic's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natalija Kuzmanovic, who had six digs and two aces. Megan Christian was another key player, getting 17 digs and two aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Indian Rocks Christian fell to 5-1. As for Clearwater Central Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Indian Rocks Christian will take on Boca Ciega at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clearwater Central Catholic, they will be taking part in a tournament against Archbishop Hannan at 2:45 p.m. on Friday.
