Volleyball Recap: Leyton Triumphs

Leyton won the last time they faced Minatare and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0.

While Leyton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23.

Macey Roelle paced Leyton's offense, picking up four kills. Roelle really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with two. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

The victory got Leyton back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Leyton will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Kimball on Tuesday. As for Minatare, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Potter-Dix on the 28th.
