Soccer Game Preview: Skyline vs. Desert Ridge

Skyline hasn't had much luck against Desert Ridge recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Skyline Coyotes will face off against the Desert Ridge Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Skyline is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game back in December of 2024. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting South Mountain an easy 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Desert Ridge took on Marana on Saturday. Desert Ridge fell just short of Marana by a score of 1-0.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Desert Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Skyline suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Desert Ridge in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Skyline avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
