Softball Recap: Western Wayne Victorious

Western Wayne took a 22-run loss the last time they faced off against Riverside, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vikings on Wednesday, sneaking past 12-11. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their two-run performance the match before.

Sophia Ochlan was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Hannah DeStefano, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
