Recap: Hamilton vs. Mountain Ridge

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Hamilton Huskies had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Mountain Lions 4-1. The result was nothing new for Hamilton, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Mountain Ridge with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Leonel Castro Loaiza (2), Alejandro Acevedo, and Quentin McCall.

Hamilton's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matches. As for Mountain Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Hamilton will head out on the road to square off against Mesa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mesa will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hamilton surely won't give up without a fight. Mountain Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
