Softball Recap: Merrill's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Merrill waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the All Saints Central Cougars by a score of 9-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vandals also won the last time the pair played back in June of 2016.

Merrill pushed their record up to 12-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for All Saints Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Merrill has already played their next contest, a 15-1 loss against Sacred Heart Academy on the 15th. As for All Saints Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-2 defeat against Vestaburg on the 13th.
