            The McGraw Eagles will challenge the Stockbridge Valley Indians at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. McGraw's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1  runs per game  this season, so Stockbridge Valley's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Stockbridge Valley will be up against a hot McGraw  team: the  squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Eagles came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   5-4 W against Cincinnatus Central. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Eagles have posted  against the Lions since May 15, 2017.
 Remington Stull was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. Those  two  RBI gave  her a new career-high.

 Stull wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Haylee Bassett, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI. Those  two  hits gave  Bassett a new career-high. Another  was  Leah Terwilliger, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Stockbridge Valley). They were the clear victors by  a  26-5 margin over Madison Central on Tuesday. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
 McGraw pushed their record up to 12-3 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Stockbridge Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
 McGraw beat Stockbridge Valley 5-1  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024. Will the Eagles repeat their success,  or do  the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
