The Redwood Giants will challenge the Foothill Falcons at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Redwood will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Redwood proved they can win big on Friday (they won by seven) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Heritage 8-6.

Maxim Wells looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Chase Johnson was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Theo Trono was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Redwood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive games.
