Kaj "Nitro" Baker Earns League's Top Spot

Starting off the list is Somerset Academy's Kaj "Nitro" Baker, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Baker picked up 182 receiving yards and four touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending a pass.

Somerset Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. Baker and Somerset Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Neumann at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Miles Walker Delivers Best Effort of Season

Sadly, Miles Walker posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Pompano Beach over Hollywood Hills on Thursday. Walker wasn't messing around, picking up three sacks and making eight total tackles. The contest was his third straight with six or more total tackles.

Pompano Beach's loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5. Walker and Pompano Beach are taking a road trip to take on Stranahan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Big Game from Guyton As Central Won 22-14

Otis Guyton was instrumental in extending Central's winning streak to six on Friday. Norland had no answer to Guyton as he picked up four sacks and made eight total tackles (5.0 for loss). Guyton has been hot recently, having posted two or more sacks the last three times he's played.

Central pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Guyton and Central will face off against Stranahan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Central picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Anthony Mcqueen. Mcqueen turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 178 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 36 yards and a touchdown.

On the year, Mcqueen has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 208.8 passing yards per game.

Another Game with at Least Six Total Tackles from Ezekiel Marcelin

Central picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Ezekiel Marcelin. Marcelin was unstoppable, picking up four sacks and making 12 total tackles. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.

On the year, Marcelin has averaged 11 total tackles per game and for the season has those 4 sacks.
