Basketball Recap: Forsyth Country Day Find Success

While Forsyth Country Day has struggled on the road with six straight losses, that wasn't the case on Monday thanks to Lila Kelly. The Forsyth Country Day Furies claimed a resounding 60-19 win over the Charlotte Christian Knights thanks in part to Kelly, who posted 22 points. The matchup was her sixth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was AP Bryan, who had 12 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Charlotte Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Egypt Maxwell-Wright, who put up six points.

Forsyth Country Day's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Charlotte Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forsyth Country Day and Mount Tabor will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Charlotte Christian, they and South Charlotte will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
