Western Branch won the last time they faced Grassfield and things went their way on Friday too. The Bruins took their matchup with ease, bagging a 52-6 victory over the Grizzlies. Considering the Bruins have won three games by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Masyiah Montgomery had a dynamite game, rushing for 102 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, while also throwing for 106 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes.

Western Branch didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Grassfield to a completion percentage of just 36.4%. Given Montgomery's standout performance, it's clear the Grizzlies' secondary just wasn't on the same level.

The win made it two in a row for Western Branch and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.5 points over those games. As for Grassfield, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
