Baseball Recap: Cedarcrest Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Cedarcrest was feeling good fresh off their 14-2 takedown of Renton on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Wolves took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bellevue Wolverines on Tuesday.

Cedarcrest saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Smith, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Cedarcrest's defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5. As for Bellevue, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Cedarcrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bellevue has already played their next game (against Sammamish), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
