Volleyball Game Preview: Bethel Wildcats vs. Masuk Panthers + How To Watch

Bethel is 0-9 against Masuk since October of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Wildcats will challenge the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Masuk took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Bethel, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, it was close, but Bethel sidestepped New Fairfield for a 3-2 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Bethel was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (112-109), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 15-25, 24-26, 25-20, 19-17.

Meanwhile, Masuk came up short against Cheshire on Thursday and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-17, 14-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Bethel's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Masuk, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Bethel suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Masuk in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
