Wilde Lake has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against Marriotts Ridge at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wilde Lake has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 333 points over their last five games.
Wilde Lake pushed their score all the way to 58 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 69-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Urbana.
Meanwhile, Marriotts Ridge's recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their third straight loss. They fell 77-64 to Long Reach. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Wilde Lake's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Marriotts Ridge, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-5.
Wilde Lake strolled past Marriotts Ridge when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 74-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wilde Lake since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
