Volleyball Recap: Grace Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Grace Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Suwannee Bulldogs.

Suwannee's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ansleigh Kelley led the charge by getting 11 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Kelley has posted over her last three contests. The team also got some help courtesy of CaLinn Daniel, who had ten digs, five kills, and two aces.

Grace Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Suwannee, the win snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 5-10 record.

Grace Christian Academy has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Sherwood Christian Academy on the 16th. As for Suwannee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Dixie County on the 16th.
