Basketball Recap: Noble Takes a Loss

Noble lost against El Reno back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Noble Bears were outmatched by the El Reno Indians and fell 88-43. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Indians are ranked 18th).

Noble has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for El Reno, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Noble will take on Elgin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elgin knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Noble likes a good challenge. As for El Reno, they will challenge MacArthur at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. MacArthur will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something El Reno surely won't give up without a fight.
