We were recently at the Gatorade Athlete of the Year Awards in Southern California, where Allen (Texas) quarterback Kyler Murray and Rockdale County (Conyers, Ga.) sprinter Candace Hill took home top honors.

Senior writer Mitch Stephens was on hand to interview both high school and professional athletes. He spoke with Houston Texans All-Pro J.J. Watt about his high school days and asked if he had any advice for young athletes. See his responses in the video above.
