West Carter was the 3-0 winner over Lawrence County when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Comets fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

West Carter's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Lawrence County, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.

West Carter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Greenup County on the 15th. Lawrence County has also already played their next matchup (against Johnson Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
