Basketball Game Recap: Highland Huskies vs. Deary Mustangs

The Highland Huskies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 47-11 defeat at the hands of Deary. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Highland has scored all season.

Shaylee Stamper was Highland's leading scorer, having posted five points. Laney Bovey held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Deary, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

Highland and Kendrick will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Deary, they will head out on the road to challenge Nezperce at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
