Volleyball Game Preview: Bulls College Prep Bulls vs. Disney II Titans

The Bulls College Prep Bulls will take on the Disney II Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

Bulls College Prep is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Noble Street College Prep just ended the team's four-game winning streak last Wednesday. They fell 2-0 to the Golden Tigers.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Noble Street College Prep scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18.

Disney II had won two straight games and Walter Guaman did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Titans came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Chicago Academy for which the team can thank Guaman, who had 16 digs. He has been hot, having posted 16 or more digs the last six times he's played.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Disney II who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-12, 19-25, 25-18.

Bulls College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Disney II, their win bumped their record up to 14-6-1.
