If Highlands was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Blue Ridge Early College on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Highlanders fell just short of the Hiwassee Dam Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Highlanders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Highlands sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 25-23, 21-25, 19-17.
