Limestone is 0-5 against Galesburg since April of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Rockets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Silver Streaks at 4:30 p.m. Limestone is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Limestone easily dispatched Freeport on Saturday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Rockets fell just short of East Peoria by a score of 6-4 on Monday.

Limestone got a good showing from Landon Winter, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Winter has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Alec Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season. Bryce Chapman was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Galesburg won against Sterling on Friday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Silver Streaks put the hurt on Quincy with a sharp 11-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Silver Streaks, who have now won four matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Galesburg's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Limestone, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-4.
