Volleyball Recap: Pelion Takes a Loss

Pelion's tournament run continued when they took on Irmo on Saturday. The Panthers fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 2-1.

Alexia Hansen paced Pelion's offense, picking up three kills. Hansen got some help from Hayley Maxwell and her three assists.

Pelion has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6-1 record this season. As for Irmo, their win bumped their record up to 5-7-1.

Pelion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Greenwood on the 20th. Irmo has also already played their next game (against Batesburg-Leesville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
