Basketball Recap: Lakota Tech Takes a Loss

Lakota Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 59-45 bruising from the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers. If the Tatanka were looking for revenge after losing 66-61 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Lakota Tech lost, don't look at Rob Left Hand Bull. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 9 on his way to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Davonte Ross, who posted six points.

Lakota Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Mobridge-Pollock, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakota Tech will head out to square off against Dakota Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mobridge-Pollock, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Dell Rapids at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Mobridge-Pollock's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
