Baseball Game Preview: West Hall Spartans vs. East Hall Vikings

West Hall has gone 8-2 against East Hall recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. West Hall will be playing in front of their home fans against East Hall at 5:55 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for West Hall and ten for East Hall.

West Hall came into this matchup off a tough 14-run loss on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Oconee County by a score of 7-5 on Friday. While the Spartans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 5-0 in the first period.

Drew Svetz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, East Hall lost 12-1 to Monroe Area on Friday.

East Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for West Hall, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 6-15.

West Hall came out on top in a nail-biter against East Hall in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Does West Hall have another victory up their sleeve, or will East Hall turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
