Preview: Indian Trail Hawks vs. Oak Creek Knights
Indian Trail is 0-10 against Oak Creek since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Indian Trail Hawks will be playing at home against the Oak Creek Knights at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Indian Trail was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-42 to Kenosha Tremper. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Indian Trail has scored all season.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Oak Creek's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 50-43 to Kettle Moraine. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Oak Creek in their matchups with Kettle Moraine: they've now lost six in a row.
Despite their loss, Oak Creek saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Ava Hanson, who scored 13 points, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Schmidt, who scored ten points.
Indian Trail has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Oak Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
