Highly touted St. John Bosco cornerback will announce his college choice Saturday on his birthday.

Lincoln Riley no doubt had a very pleasant July 4th holiday.

The future of his Sooners' football team looks bright if the final day of The Openings Finals is any indication.

Six elite rising seniors who have already committed to Riley and the Sooners were on the winning 7-on-7 squad, including 4-star quarterback Spencer Rattler of Pinnacle (Phoenix).

Team Overdrive also featured 5-star receiver Theo Wease of Allen (Texas), 4-star receiver Trejan Bridges of Hebron (Carrollton, Texas), 4-star receiver Arjei Henderson of Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, Texas), 4-star tight end Austin Stogner of Prestonwood Christian (Plano, Texas) and 4-star running back Jase McClellan of Aledo (Texas).

The one Arizona native Rattler was voted the winner of the Elite 11 competition, while Wease and Stogner were All-Tournament selections.

Oklahoma currently is fifth in the 247Sports 2019 Football Recruiting Rankings, behind Alabama, Texas A&M, Michigan and LSU.

The Sooners have 14 recruits, including nine 4-stars and four 3-stars. Wease is the only 5-star recruit, but don't be surprised if Rattler moves up to 5-star after his performance.
