Basketball Recap: Lebanon Find Success

Lebanon hadn't done well against Central recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Lebanon Warriors skirted past the Central Panthers 50-48. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 54-48 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory snapped Lebanon's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-8 record. As for Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Lebanon and Central could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. Lebanon (ranked 159th) will meet Crescent Valley (ranked 36th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Central will face off against West Albany at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 123 places (156 vs. 33).
