After losing to Saint Andrew the last time they met, Cardinal Newman decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crusaders walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Scots on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Crusaders, who have now won four matches in a row.

Cardinal Newman found their leader in sophomore Kerrington Smith, who had six digs and two aces.

Cardinal Newman's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Saint Andrew's, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Cardinal Newman will challenge Archbishop Carroll at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Saint Andrew's, they will face off against Pine Crest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
